Fledgling Lions Club at KU seeks members

A new Kansas University Lions Club will meet Monday, hoping to gather enough members to secure an international charter.

The club, open to any student, faculty or staffer, has 10 members and needs 10 more to be officially recognized, said Diana Folks, the student who is organizing the effort.

The meeting, which includes pizza, will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Audio-Reader Network, 1120 W. 11th Street.
