Lawrence commuter report

The following construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

Stubbs Road from U.S. Highway 40 to S.E. 29th Street, closed for bridge replacement over Interstate Highway 70.

East 300 Road from North 1825 Road to U.S. 40, closed for bridge replacement over I-70.

Douglas County Road 1029, from County Road 438 north to Lecompton’s city limits, closed for road overhaul.

Kansas Highway 10 one mile west of the Eudora exit, 15-foot lane-width restriction for bridge expansion and joint repair.

I-70 from the 18th Street Expressway to one mile east of Interstate Highway 635 and I-635 from Parallel Parkway to Metropolitan Avenue, traffic reduced to two lanes each direction and exit closures for road construction. Detours posted.

U.S. Highway 169 at Seventh Street under Interstate Highway 35, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for bridge repair.

Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox, 2:10 p.m. Monday and 1:10 p.m. Wednesday; vs. Cleveland Indians, 1:10 p.m. Thursday, 7:10 p.m. Friday and 1:10 p.m. Saturday; Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

U.S. Highway 69 from College Avenue to 119th Street, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for bridge repairs.

The following projects and events may affect city traffic this week:

Wagon Wheel Road from north of Harvard Road to 12th Street, restricted parking for water line installation.

Crossgate Drive at Clinton Parkway, closed for street repairs.

Haskell Avenue from 11th to 13th streets and 12th Street at Haskell Avenue, closed for stormwater improvements. Detours posted.

19th Street from Rhode Island to Delaware streets, closed for intersection improvements. Detours posted.

Barker Avenue at 19th Street, closed for intersection improvements.
