Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 27-year-old Topeka man reported criminal damage to his car in Lawrence. Between 1 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, someone damaged the front passenger door lock and the right front wheel. Damage was estimated at $1,250.

Injury accidents

  • The driver of a 1986 Honda Accord traveling south in the 1600 block of Haskell Avenue veered off the roadway, jumped the curb and struck a pole and a bus station at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday. The driver, Kevin R. Rice, Lawrence, was treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and released.
