Law enforcement report
- Police arrested a 20-year-old Lawrence man Tuesday night after a domestic dispute in which he allegedly threatened an ex-girlfriend with a steak knife.
The alleged incident took place between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday at the man’s residence in the 1400 block of West 19th Terrace.
Burglaries and thefts reported
- Somebody entered Joe’s Bakery, 616 W. Ninth St., between midnight and 1 a.m. Wednesday, smashed a display case and took a collection of coins and silver pieces valued at $900, plus three fake $1,000 bills, according to a police report.
