Whose fault?
To the editor:
In “Placing the blame,” (Public Forum, Sept. 13) the writer said “it seems that the focus of guilt has been shifted from the speeding criminal to the pursuing police.”
If the police had not pursued, the police would then have been guilty for not pursuing. And the Journal-World would be filing a lawsuit to get the illegally withheld information about the lack of pursuit.
Either way it’s the police’s fault — not the criminal’s fault.
