Help, Mr. Kline!
To the editor:
In a statement quoted in Tuesday’s Journal-World, Atty. Gen. Phill Kline implied that if the state lost a case currently before an appeals court, Kansas would be awash with people practicing bestiality, polygamy, same-sex marriage, and incest.
The suit is infinitely more dangerous than that.
Mark my words, if the ACLU wins that case, people will be walking around in public with unclipped hangnails, pets will be parading through our streets unclothed, and men and women students at KU will be living in the same dormitories.
Stand in the doorway, Mr. Attorney General. For all our sakes, please stand in the doorway!
