Law enforcement report

  • Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigators are attempting to identify the body of a man found Thursday in the county near 448 N. 1500 Road. The approximately 40-year-old man was found near an abandoned Jeep Cherokee, Lt. Ken Massey said. Officers believe the body may be a Johnson County man reported missing in July. Investigators are awaiting dental analysis for confirmation.
