Overland Park ? Free State High’s Lacey Baxter won the Sunflower League balance-beam title and placed fourth in the all-around at the league gymnastics meet Thursday at Shawnee Mission North.

Baxter won the beam with a score of 9.3. She was third in floor exercise (9.175), fifth on uneven bars (8.95) and 10th on the vault (8.55). FSHS was fourth in the team race with 101.85 points.

Shawnee Mission Northwest won with 107.725 points.

Lawrence High was fifth with 97.55 points.

Meredith West led the Lions with a 12th-place finish in the all-around.
