Color choice
To the editor:
I see the county is about to wrap up all the chip and seal projects around the area and I have a question.
Why are they using pea gravel the same color as a deer with all the car-deer accidents in the county?
Maybe if they went back to the white rocks, it would allow a driver to see a deer sooner and cut down on the accidents some. This dark color also absorbs headlights, has no reflective value at all and is very unsafe.
Is this new darker rock cheaper or something ?
