Injury accidents

A 22-year-old Basehor man was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision Wednesday night on Kansas Highway 32, or Linwood Road, and 166th Street, a Leavenworth County Sheriff Department report said. Kevin Criswell Swope was driving one of two vehicles that crashed about 9:20 p.m. Swope was transported by air ambulance to University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan. Hospital officials Thursday night would not release information about Swope’s condition. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
