Get the ‘Dirt’ at exhibition’s opening reception

Travis Millard, the former Lawrence artist known for his often-repulsive characters, returns to town this week to open a solo exhibition at Olive Gallery and Art Supply, 15 E. Eighth St. The reception for “Go Tell It on the Dirt Mound” is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at the gallery. Here’s a look at some other weekend activities:
