Teen welcome

To the editor:

Thank you for the headline story on the former school shooter who may, during his rehabilitation, reside in Lawrence with his grandparents. If that choice is approved in this young man’s healing/rehab program, my family wants to extend our welcome to the potential of that type of diversity here in Lawrence. I hope my teenagers have a chance to meet him and be friends with him.
