A meeting planned for Tuesday to discuss Kansas University men’s basketball ticket distributions next year to KU faculty and staff has been rescheduled.

The meeting, which was called by KU’s Senate Executive Committee, has been changed to 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 210 at Strong Hall.

The meeting was rescheduled to allow more time for the topic to be discussed, according to Ray Davis, SenEx chairman.

Last week, SenEx committee members endorsed a KU athletic department plan to set aside an additional 219 season tickets for faculty and staff and to move more than 900 faculty and staff out of third-tier seating and into second-tier seating.

Under the proposal, the number of faculty and staff seats would increase from 1,427 to 1,646.
