Unfortunate few
To the editor:
Regardless of the records, I was disheartened by the tire-slashing thing. If I were one of the victims, it’s probable I may still be in a Lawrence holding cell due to my anger. But it’s not the anger at Kansans in general, because most of us in Nebraska know we have a great affinity for Kansans. We are one with the land. I’ve resided in Kansas, and found the natives to be just like Nebraskans, true of spirit and heart. You chose basketball; we chose football. Who cares? We are still one. Games are games. Only the unfortunate few seek to divide us.
