Sidewalk esthetics
To the editor:
I don’t want to sound too critical of our city services because I believe we have the best services of any city around. I just don’t like the replacement of the brick crosswalks downtown with concrete brick patterns. They don’t get it for me.
The brick crosswalks that need repair look better than the concrete. They at least have a rustic look to them. I’m sure there are many other more important things than the crosswalks, and it is an economic decision that will save the taxpayer money.
