To the editor:

This is in response to Sue Hess’ letter of Oct. 30, “Not candidates.”

What is your point, Sue? Your Democrat tendencies are showing! Of course, the Bushes’ books are going to help their son get re-elected. Of course George W.’s wife is smoothing feathers. It’s called “politics.” Timing is everything. I see you neglected or just avoided mentioning the “inept” ex-first lady Madam Clinton’s book, written to further her Oval Office aspirations and to pay off her “inept” husband’s legal fees. And, if I’m not mistaken, the “inept” man himself is planning a book to coincide, oddly enough with his wife’s bid for the 2008 Democrat presidential nomination. Don’t be so partisan, Sue. Do a little research on both sides before you throw stones and cast aspersions.
