Great service

To the editor:

In October 2002, I had an automobile accident that convinced me that I would be a danger to the public, and to myself, if I continued driving. So I tried the T-Lift (paratransit) bus.

It is an excellent service, relatively cheap. They come to your front door, take you to your destination and take you home. I’m impressed at how they tie a wheelchair to the floor. I have seen the driver carry heavy grocery bags to the house of the passenger. Sometime, there are six or seven passengers on the bus. So it requires excellent coordination. All in all, I’m proud I live in a city that has an advanced transportation system.
