High-scoring students to attend KU event
More than 500 Kansas seventh-graders and their parents are expected to attend a recognition program at Kansas University for participants in the Duke University Talent Identification Program.
More than 890 students have been invited to attend the event, which begins at 1:30 p.m. June 1 at the Lied Center. They were selected based on college entrance exam scores in the top 5 percentile.
This is the fifth year KU has been host of the ceremony.
