The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

U.S. Highway 75 at 46th Street, traffic detoured through roundabout for construction.

U.S. Highway 24 at U.S. 75 interchange, westbound lanes and ramp to southbound U.S. 75 closed for bridge repainting. Detour posted.

Interstate 70 from Shawnee/Wabaunsee county line to Carlson Road interchange, traffic reduced to one lane each direction and speed limit reduced to 60 mph for road reconstruction.

U.S. 24, 14-foot width restriction and traffic delayed up to 15 minutes for road work.

Kansas Highway 32 from junction with U.S. 24 east to Bonner Springs, 14-foot width restriction and pilot car operation for milling and overlay.

Brooks & Dunn concert, 3 p.m. today, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Bonner Springs.

Kansas Highway 7, lane and ramp closures for road milling and overlay.

I-70 at Interstate 635, traffic placed on existing westbound lanes for road reconstruction. I-635 between Metropolitan Avenue and Parallel Parkway, traffic placed on existing southbound lanes for road reconstruction. Several associated ramps closed.

Interstate Highway 35 at Southwest Boulevard, northbound exit ramp and southbound entrance ramp closed for bridge replacement.

U.S. Highway 56 from I-35 to Metcalf Avenue, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for road milling and overlay.

12. U.S. Highway 69 from Blue Valley Parkway to Johnson/Miami county line, traffic reduced to one lane with intermittent ramp closures for road milling and overlay.

North Michigan Street, no through traffic north of the Woodcreek Town Homes entrance to Riverridge Road for road improvements.

Second and North Michigan streets, intersection closed for milling and overlay.

Jayhawk Boulevard, West Campus Road to 13th Street, one-way northbound for line installation.

Eighth Street, Massachusetts to New Hampshire streets, closed for line installation.

Inverness Drive at Carmel Drive, delays during workday for street repair.

Brush Creek Drive, traffic restricted for milling and overlay.

Iowa Street, 27th Street to 33rd Street, one lane each direction for road improvements.

31st Street, Iowa Street to Ousdahl Road, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for road improvements.

21st Street, Kentucky to Massachusetts streets, closed for storm sewer improvements. Periodic closures east of Massachusetts during workday.

Rhode Island Street, 20th Street to 21st Street, closed to through traffic for storm sewer improvements.
