Principled stand
To the editor:
What a startling scene. Freshmen in the Legislature acting in a bipartisan manner and proposing sense for the state budget.
They even think education deserves support and realize the “needy” in the state should not be sacrificed.
They must have been well educated — and want to speak out of principle and ask us to pay for it.
