Lullaby of peace
To the editor:
At the close of the March 20 candlelight peace vigil at the Douglas County Courthouse, Joe Morgan, a supporter for peace, shared this lullaby which he composed for the children of Iraq:
“Close your eyes and never fear,
you are safe while we are here.
Sleep in peace the whole night through,
we will always be with you.”
If only this love and peace for the children of Iraq.
