Propaganda art

To the editor:

The “Give Peace a Glance” article (J-W, Sunday) requires some comment.

“Real Men Say” … This is not original, it is a plagiarism. “Do what we say but not what we do.” … The United States is the largest provider of disaster and poverty relief in the world, both official government agencies and private charities. “Don’t do what we do” … Indeed! And on the second page, the illustration of the mother and baby and the poster stating “Everyone deserves Peace on Earth.” I did not see any illustrations of the broken bones and skulls of Iraqi mothers and babies and other family members murdered by the worst dictator on the planet since Adolf Hitler.

This is not art, it is propaganda, and it favors the true enemies of “Peace on Earth.”
