Workers with Seneca Corp., Des Moines, Iowa, fill rock around three 20,000-gallon fuel tanks at the site of a new filling station at Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store, 4000 W. Sixth Street. Hy-Vee announced in January the company would enter the Lawrence convenience store market. The store will have 10 gas pumps, employ seven to eight people, and is expected to open in late August or early September.
