Flat in Florida
To the editor:
I wish to also say that Kansas is not flat. After living in the area of Wichita for 10 years and northeast Kansas for 44 years and now in southwest Florida for eight years I guarantee you that nothing is flatter then Florida. Kansas has rolling hills even in western Kansas. We traveled Kansas extensively while living there and found nothing there as flat as southwest Florida. The tallest place here is the bridge in Tampa/St. Petersburg and that doesn’t count as ground. Just want you to know, although we live here now, we are still Kansans at heart.
