Apparently Gov. Sebelius is determined that Wichita shall be featured on the Kansas quarter to be coined in 2005.

Of 16 persons she appointed to the Kansas Commemorative Coin Design Commission, seven are from Wichita, and only one is from the Leavenworth-Wyandotte-Johnson-Douglas County area.
