Burglaries and thefts reported

• Someone took a 36-inch television and a personal computer from Free State High School, 4700 Overland Drive, a school employee told police. The incident happened sometime Friday night or Saturday morning, according to a report. Each piece of equipment was valued at $800.
• A 22-year-old Lawrence man told police his 1983 Mazda RXT was taken about 12:45 p.m. Saturday from the 800 block of Iowa Street. Losses totaled $2,045, including a backpack and driver’s license.
