To the editor:

Regarding Frank Janzen’s letter (Feb. 14) on a day for a-peace-ment, we do not need to turn this country around. We need to turn around the terrorist regimes like Iraq, that have demonstrated continued threats to our national security. We have been attacked on our home ground and are still under attack. We will not tolerate more threats from terrorists and terrorist regimes.

Military action to destroy the government of Iraq and disarm its military is justified and necessary. We will continue to be the leaders of the free world, and will act accordingly, in spite of anti-American socialist-led peacenik displays like the Lawrence Coalition for Peace and Justice.
