Keith Wooden

School/class: Free State High, 2003

In high school: Wooden, a 6-foot-9 forward, was one of Free State’s best-ever basketball talents. He averaged 17.4 points per game for the Firebirds his senior year, leading them to a 15-7 record.

Where is he now?: Wooden signed a letter of intent with Arizona State prior to his senior season at Free State. Playing alongside All-America candidate Ike Diogu, Wooden has been struggling for significant playing time.

Still, in ASU’s first five games, Wooden has logged 34 minutes, and has 12 points and 13 rebounds. He has started two games, including a six-point, six-rebound effort against Arkansas-Little Rock in the Sun Devils’ opener. ASU is 4-1 this season, the lone blemish a 66-60 loss to Nebraska.
