Dime’s fine
To the editor:
I read with amusement of Rep. Todd Tiahrt’s crusade to replace Roosevelt with Reagan on the dime because “it’s time for a change.” Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to put Ronnie on the quarter? Washington’s had it way too long.
I don’t mean to belittle Reagan’s accomplishments. He did, after all, pop the deficit from $70 billion to $200 billion and save us from the threat of Grenada.
