Family radio?

To the editor:

The market manager at KLZR responded to a Sound Off complaint about a tasteless pizza commercial that, in response to earlier complaints, the commercial had been “changed.” The change consisted of bleeping out the offensive word, thus leaving it to the listener to fill in the blank, which is easily done. The ad — probably like the pizza — continues to be tasteless.

If the market manager believes either the old or the new ad to be suitable for the station’s market, perhaps it is he who needs to be “changed.”

Oh, for the days of Booth Family family radio.
