Winter storm leads to some school cancellations

The storm system that brought from one to three inches of sleet and snow to the Lawrence area has led to class cancellations at some schools in the Lawrence area.

Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence and Eudora, Baldwin, McLouth, DeSoto, Wellsville, Tonganoxie, Basehor-Linwood and Santa Fe Trail school districts have decided to cancel classes.

Lawrence’s public schools and Kansas University are holding class today. Haskell Indian Nations University and Baker University are also holding classes.
