Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 1998 Chevrolet Camaro valued at $8,020 was reported taken sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning from the 600 block of Connecticut Street. A 48-year-old Ottawa man reported the loss.
  • Construction equipment and tools belonging to Joel Fritzel Construction Co., 3320 Clinton Parkway, were reported missing Monday to Lawrence Police. The tools, valued at $2,175, disappeared from a site in the 4300 block of West Sixth Street.
  • Tools belonging to Matt Haley Construction Inc., 1410 Prospect Ave., were reported missing from the 3700 block of Gunnison Drive. The tools, valued at $2,361, disappeared sometime between Friday and Monday.
