To the editor:

As a pharmacist interested in the welfare of Kansas residents as well as my customers/patients, I am writing this message to express my concern about the illegal purchasing of medications from Canada. It is my concern that the medications being purchased from Canada are not passing the stringent guidelines of our FDA. Therefore, the possibility exists of a drug product being delivered to our Kansas customers that may inflict harm to them. These drug products may be sub-potent, super-potent, or the wrong product all together! Many issues arise from this situation, therefore my concern. The utmost concern is for the welfare of our residents of Kansas as well as residents of the United States.
