Police reports

Police allege that two suspects took advantage of an 81-year-old Lawrence woman’s financial resources.

Sgt. Mike Pattrick said police thought the 41-year-old female suspect and 43-year-old male suspect accepted payment for services they didn’t perform.

The alleged crimes happened between May 1, 2001, and June 18, 2002, according to a police report.

The victim lives in the western part of Lawrence and does not live in a nursing home, Pattrick said.

Police didn’t make the report public until Thursday, and Pattrick said he couldn’t release any more details.
