To the editor:

I think it’s more than understandable that the Kansas University men’s basketball team voted to cancel the parade Thursday in light of coach Roy Williams’ decision. However, as a loyal fan of the team, I feel a little slighted that I couldn’t show the players how proud and happy I am for their amazing season.

Roy Williams may have been the coach of that team, but those 13 young men did all the hard work; Roy is just a coach. The men who played their hearts out all season are the ones I’d be celebrating during a parade. And finally, to Nick, Kirk, Keith, Aaron, Wayne, Jeff, Michael, Bryant, Moulaye, Jeff, Christian, Stephen, and Brett: you are champions to me.
