Coffey County Lake reopens
Burlington ? The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office will reopen Coffey County Lake today because the national terrorist threat level has been reduced from orange to yellow. Anglers at the lake are required to follow previously set registration requirements.
Coffey County Lake still has a low water level and the office urges anglers to exercise caution while fishing at the lake.
The lake is open from sunrise to sunset. For information on fishing, call the lake status hot line, (620) 364-2475.
