No distractions

To the editor:

Chancellor Hemenway’s firing of Al Bohl just served to prove Bohl’s point. Hemenway insists he has been considering this for many weeks but did not want to distract the basketball team. The basketball team, as Bohl suggested, apparently is more important than the baseball, softball, track, tennis, golf and other spring sports teams, as the distraction to their programs was apparently not an issue.
