To the editor:

How guilty does John Robinson have to be? Aren’t the lawyers getting enough money already? And you wonder where our tax dollars are going! This man was a serial killer. Why spend more of our scarce tax dollars on this “trash”? He has already been sentenced in one state. I suggest that we submit a bill for legal fees to the other states in which he killed women, like Missouri, and ask if they want to share the legal fees. After all, there’s only one death sentence or one life in prison for all the deaths he caused. And why prolong the agony and expense? I know he’s entitled to a trial in each state, but sometimes common sense supersedes the law.
