  • A 42-year-old woman from North Braddock, Pa., told Lawrence Police she’d been the victim of bigamy.

The woman says her estranged husband, a 42-year-old Lawrence resident, married another woman in Douglas County even though his divorce was not final.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 26-year-old woman lost a $1,500 laptop computer, a digital camera and assorted compact discs after a burglary at her apartment in the 3300 block of Iowa Street.

It happened some time between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, according to a report.
