Trinity Respite Care needs volunteers 16 years old or older to give parents a “time out.” The program lasts from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. two Saturdays a month. The program provides movies, snacks, crafts and play time for children with disabilities and their siblings. The maximum number of children allowed is eight but usually averages between five and eight.

Volunteers would work with a program employee to help supervise children and lead them in activities. The first program is Sept. 21. Before starting, volunteers need a brief training session, which lasts less than four hours. Call Angie to set up a training time.
