To the editor:

I would like to respond to a letter submitted on Sept 3 by Doris Stine. It amazes me that people are still complaining about the election in 2000. You make comments about the “victory” was sealed in a back room dealing. Those kind of comments just upset me. How can you make that kind of statement? You don’t know that, and it is those kind of stupid statements that keep the fighting between the two parties going. As for corporate America, I am glad they are going after them. You do need to get one thing straight, the Whitewater investigation did yield several arrests and convictions. So don’t go saying it was an eight-year investigation that only cost taxpayers.
