To the editor:
Congratulations to New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson for signing into law prescriptive privileges for psychologists. How very sensible to have medications prescribed by the mental health provider. I believe that New Mexico will experience greater continuity of care with fewer gaps in mental health services. Perhaps the Kansas Legislature should consider similar progressive legislation.
