Condition reports

Two Olathe men, Joshua I. Walton, 20, and Ryan D. Galemore, 21, were in serious condition Monday at KU Med, Kansas City, Kan. Both were injured Oct. 8 when their car collided head-on with a tractor-trailer on Kansas Highway 10 west of Eudora.

Burglaries and thefts reported

A 1997 Toyota valued at $8,000 was reported stolen Friday to Lawrence Police. The car was parked in front of Fast Lane convenience store, 1414 W. Sixth St., while the driver, a 44-year-old Lawrence man, went inside the store, police said. Someone then got in the car and drove it away.
