The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic this week in the region:

Kansas Jayhawks football vs. Colorado, 1 p.m. Saturday, Memorial Stadium.

Kansas City Renaissance Festival, weekends, Bonner Springs.

Aerosmith, 7:30 p.m. today, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Bonner Springs.

County Road 442 (Stull Road) from East 318 Road to County Road 1029, closed for safety improvements. Detour posted. Commuters are urged to use U.S. Highway 40, Kansas Turnpike or U.S. Highway 24 to travel between Topeka and Lawrence during this project.

U.S. Highway 59, from Douglas-Franklin county line to north city limits of Ottawa, delays up to 15 minutes for road surface recycle and overlay project. Pilot car operation during daylight hours.

U.S. Interstate 70, from Kansas-Missouri state line west about half a mile, lane restrictions for bridge repair and patching. Detour posted.

Kansas Highway 32, eastbound lanes in Wyandotte County, closed for reconstruction. Traffic rerouted to westbound lanes.

Kansas Highway 32, Turner Diagonal Bridge in Wyandotte County, routed to new bridge while second bridge is under construction.

The following city construction projects may affect traffic this week:

Indiana Street, 1600 to 1700 block, intermittent lane closures for curb replacement under way and future overlay.

21st Street, Ousdahl Road to east of Naismith Drive, closed for storm sewer improvements.

Southbound Naismith Drive, south of 19th Street, closed for storm sewer improvements.

19th Terrace, 20th Street and 20th Terrace, periodic closures during workday for storm sewer improvements.

31st Street, Ousdahl Road to Iowa Street, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for storm sewer improvements.

27th Street and Crossgate Drive, intermittent traffic interruption for line cleaning and inspection.

31st Street and Atchison Avenue, intermittent traffic interruption for line cleaning and inspection.

Second and Michigan streets, intermittent traffic interruption for line cleaning and inspection.

31st and Louisiana streets, intermittent traffic interruption for line cleaning and inspection.

Vermont Street, 23rd Street to 2368 Vt., parking and traffic restricted 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for water line installation.

Intersection of Ninth and Iowa streets, traffic interruptions for water line installation.

Ousdahl Road, 31st Street to 33rd Street, closed for road improvements.

Kansas Highway 10 at East Hills Drive, traffic limited to one lane each direction from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for road improvements.

Ninth and Iowa streets, north and southbound right lanes, intermittent lane closures for manhole rehabilitation.

Ninth Street, Iowa to Michigan streets, intermittent lane closures for manhole rehabilitation.

Maine Street, Fourth to Sixth streets, intermittent lane closures for manhole rehabilitation.

Sixth Street, Iowa to Indiana streets east bound right lane, intermittent lane closures for manhole rehabilitation.
