Appreciated aid
To the editor:
This truly is a time for “thanks-giving.” It was the lunch hour; the cars kept coming. All at once my car went “chug, chug” and quit. The cars kept coming.
Then a young lady parked her car off the road and came to my assistance. With her cell phone, she called the police and AARP, and stayed with me until the police arrived, and I don’t even know her name.
Young lady, if you are reading this please know that your thoughtful kindness is greatly appreciated. This truly is a time for “thanks-giving.”
