Correspondent to give Hall lecture series talk

A correspondent for Atlantic Monthly and author of “Warrior Politics” will present a talk titled “The Roots of Future Conflict” at Kansas University.

Robert Kaplan will speak at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Lied Center. The event is free and open to the public. He is the second speaker in KU’s Humanities Lecture Series, sponsored by the Hall Center for the Humanities.

Kaplan also will lead two colloquia in the Summerfield Room at Adams Alumni Center. “Afghanistan,” will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. “The Middle East,” will be at 10 a.m. Friday.
