Burglaries and thefts reported
A 57-year-old Sparta, Tenn., woman reported to Lawrence Police that her car was vandalized while it was parked in the 1800 block of Mississippi Street. The incident occurred sometime Thursday night or early Friday morning. The front windshield, hood and dash sustained some type of damage, the police report said. Damage was listed at $1,200.
