The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic this week in the region:

U.S. Highway 75, between Lower Silver Lake Road and U.S. Highway 24, restricted to one lane each direction and ramps closed for reconstruction.

KU men’s basketball vs. Holy Cross, 8 p.m. Tuesday, Allen Fieldhouse, Kansas University campus.

KU men’s basketball vs. UNC-Greensboro or Wagner, 6 p.m. Friday, Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.

Kansas Highway 32, within Linwood city limits, road construction.

Kansas Highway 32, at Turner Diagonal Bridge, eastbound lanes rerouted to westbound lanes and narrow lanes for bridge construction.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills, noon today, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.


The following city construction projects may affect traffic this week:

North Third Street, Maiden Lane to North Street, closed for milling and overlay.

21st Street, Stewart Avenue to east of Naismith Drive, closed for storm sewer improvements.

19th Terrace, 20th Street and 20th Terrace, periodical closure during work day for storm sewer improvements.

Ousdahl Road, 19th to 21st streets, closed for storm sewer improvements.

Intersection of Ninth and Iowa streets, traffic interruptions for water line installation.

West Fifth Street, California Street west to 1924 W. Fifth St., local traffic only for water line installation.

Kansas Highway 10 at East Hills Drive, traffic limited to one lane each direction for road improvements.

31st Street, Ousdahl Road to Iowa Street, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for road improvements.

North Michigan Street, no through traffic north of the Woodcreek Town homes entrance to Riverridge Road for road improvements.
