Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 36-year-old Overbrook man reported more than $3,000 worth of saddles and equipment were taken from an open barn and an unlocked horse trailer on his property. The owner said the items were taken between 7:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday.
• A 33-year-old Lawrence man reported someone took a $600 shotgun, a fly-fishing rod and reel and more than $4,000 in golf equipment from his garage in the 500 block of Durham Court. The items were taken between Oct. 30 and Nov. 7.

Condition reports

• Joshua I. Walton, 20, was upgraded to good condition Friday at KU Med, Kansas City, Kan. He was injured Oct. 8 when his car collided head-on with a tractor-trailer on Kansas Highway 10 west of Eudora.
• Janis K. Curtis, 57, Topeka, was in fair condition at KU Med, Kansas City, Kan. She was struck by a pickup truck Wednesday while walking across Seventh Street at New Hampshire Street.
