Dangerous duty
To the editor:
KU’s 2002 defensive football team deserves a purple heart for lasting through the game against K-State.
The only offensive game KU had was punting and fumbling, but some of the punts stayed in the air too long and some of the fumbles were a little bit difficult for the Wildcats to recover. Coach Mangino had better get in some fumbling practice this week. And some punting practice. Emphasis should be given to punting and fumbling on the first down.
